Accessibility Statement

GenAI Secured — Last updated: June 2026

Our commitment: GenAI Secured is dedicated to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and follow applicable accessibility regulations including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

We believe that everyone deserves equal access to information and services on the web. As a technology consultancy focused on building intelligent, inclusive solutions, we hold ourselves to the same high standards we advocate for our clients.

We are continually working to improve the user experience for all visitors, and we apply relevant accessibility standards to guide our development practice.

2. Standards We Target

This website is developed with the goal of conforming to the following internationally recognised standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA — Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
  • ARIA 1.2 — WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices for dynamic and interactive components.
  • HTML 5.3 — Semantic HTML elements used throughout to convey structure and meaning.
  • ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) — U.S. federal civil rights law requirements for digital accessibility.
  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) — Applicable for clients and users within the European Union.

3. Accessibility Features Implemented

The following accessibility features are built into this website:

Semantic Structure

  • Strict HTML5 semantic elements: <header>, <main>, <section>, <article>, <footer>, <nav>.
  • A single <h1> per page, with a logical heading hierarchy (h2, h3) throughout.
  • Meaningful page titles on all pages.

ARIA and Labels

  • All interactive elements have descriptive aria-label or visible label text.
  • Navigation landmarks are labelled with aria-label.
  • Sections are associated with headings via aria-labelledby.
  • Decorative SVG icons are marked aria-hidden="true"; informative SVGs use role="img" with <title> and <desc> elements.
  • The mobile navigation toggle uses aria-expanded to communicate its state to assistive technologies.
  • The contact form feedback region uses role="alert" and aria-live="polite".

Keyboard Navigation

  • All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields — are fully keyboard-accessible using the Tab key.
  • The mobile navigation menu is operable via keyboard.
  • No keyboard traps are present on any page.

Colour and Contrast

  • Text colours are chosen to achieve sufficient contrast against their backgrounds, targeting a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for body text (WCAG AA).
  • Interactive elements have visible focus indicators.
  • No information is conveyed by colour alone.

Responsive Design

  • The website is fully responsive and functional across all screen sizes, from mobile to desktop.
  • Content reflows correctly at up to 400% zoom without loss of information or functionality.
  • Font sizes use relative units (rem/em) to respect user browser text size preferences.

Forms

  • All form inputs have associated <label> elements.
  • Required fields are marked with required attributes.
  • Error and success messages are delivered via an accessible live region so screen readers announce them automatically.

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we acknowledge the following known limitations:

  • Inline SVG illustrations (neural network and circuit board diagrams in the hero and about sections) are complex decorative images. They include accessible <title> and <desc> elements, though the level of detail conveyed to screen readers may be limited by the nature of the visual representation.
  • CSS animations — fade-in and slide-up animations are applied on page load. We intend to add prefers-reduced-motion support in a forthcoming update to disable or reduce motion for users who have indicated a preference for reduced motion.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve conformance over time.

5. Assessment Approach

GenAI Secured assesses the accessibility of this website using the following methods:

  • Manual testing using keyboard-only navigation.
  • Automated linting and static analysis tools during development.
  • Periodic review against WCAG 2.1 success criteria.
  • Browser developer tools for colour contrast analysis.

6. Contact Us for Accessibility Support

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any barriers that prevent you from accessing content or using any feature on genaisecured.com, please let us know. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the information or functionality you need in an alternative format.

Email: info@genaisecured.com
Please include the URL of the specific page you were visiting, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you are using (if applicable).
Response time: We aim to respond to accessibility-related feedback within 5 business days.

7. Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you have the right to contact the relevant supervisory authority in your country. In the European Union, this would be your national data protection or consumer protection authority. In the United States, complaints relating to ADA digital accessibility may be directed to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

8. Third-Party Content

This website loads the Google Fonts stylesheet from an external CDN for typography. While we select Google Fonts as a well-maintained and widely-used service, we do not control the accessibility of their CDN infrastructure. The font files themselves do not interact with assistive technologies in a way that would create accessibility barriers.

9. Updates to This Statement

This Accessibility Statement is reviewed and updated on a regular basis to reflect changes to the website and advances in accessibility standards. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently revised.
